 Welcome to the British Consulate General, Chicago. From here we cover the whole Midwest. Links between the Midwest and the UK are strong, in business, education, the arts and many other areas. Our job is to make them even stronger. We give advice and practical help to British companies working to expand in the US, and to Midwest companies looking to set up operations in Britain. We work with industrial, political, educational and other communities in the region to exchange ideas and experiences with Britain in areas ranging from urban regeneration to welfare reform.
