Tony Blair to discuss war in Chechnya with Russia's acting President Vladimir Putin
British Prime Minister Tony Blair is to meet Russia's acting President Vladimir Putin when he travels to St Petersburg on Saturday. Mr Blair plans to raise the issue of Chechnya with Mr Putin, believing there's more to be gained from "engagement" with Russia than from censure. Nick Clarke reports.

Britain recalls High Commissioner from Zimbabwe
Britain's High Commissioner to Zimbabwe arrived back in London on Friday in protest at the opening of a diplomatic bag by customs officials in the southern African country. Foreign Office Minister Peter Hain said Zimbabwe's behaviour was totally unacceptable. Yolande Knell reports.
